PRICING

My funeral photography coverage is priced at $500 for two hours. This may or may not include formal family portraits or strictly candid coverage of the event. Please visit my event photography pricing for more options.

PHOTOGRAPHY STANDARDS

• Understanding that this is a delicate and difficult family situation, and with that in mind I will photograph the funeral with utmost respect for a positive outcome.
• All photography will remain private and include a password protected gallery. Your privacy is assured, respected and guaranteed.
• All immediate family members must be notified of my presence at the funeral and agree to my documentation of the event.
• I will not interact with you or your guests unless addressed or instructed.
• I will respect all wishes to not be photographed by family members and mourners.
• I will remain unobtrusive by using long tele-photo lenses whenever possible.
• The shutter on my camera will be set to silent mode to reduce audible distractions.
• I will not use flash photography in churches, synagogues, or at grave sites.
• I'll dress appropriately and professionally in black pants and top or a black dress.

CHURCH OR SYNAGOGUE

When I'm photographing in a church or synagogue, I focus on the traditions such as the service, the priest, the readings, and the processions with lots of respectful candid images.

GRAVESIDE

During services at gravesites, I will document the immediate family arriving in the hearse or limousine, the procession from the hearse, pallbearers, priests or leader of ceremonies, family members saying goodbye and tearful reactions. I'll photograph the respects paid by attendees and family members. Lowering of the coffin, flower arrangements and laying the stones. I'll document the attendees and ceremony details and the cemetery as a whole.

MILITARY FUNERALS

My understanding of military funeral traditions like flag folding, flag presentations, rendering honours, gun salutes is vary close to my heart as my father was a respected military and OPP officer and my images as a funeral photographer is reflected in my work.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE

Even if you're not having a traditional funeral, a celebration of life can also be documented. The sorrow, the laughter and the relationships can all be remembered and photographed at this time of remembrance and gathering.

FAMILY PHOTOS

Families in their entirety will be photographed before or after funeral services if you wish. I can photograph families in a candid unobtrusive style as well as family formals when you gather after the ceremony for the celebration of life.
