Elora Gorge Engagement Photography
As a Collingwood photographer, I photograph engagements, elopements and wedding portraits in the Elora Gorge quite often.
How did you feel about the engagement session after it was all over?
We have always felt awkward around cameras. However, after our session with Frances, we feel as if a good friend was taking our pictures trying to make us feel as comfortable as possible. The images turned out amazing!
- How did you meet?We met through an old common friend on Canada's day. When I learned that Julie was a Registered Nurse I had to ask about gross and interesting things about her job. At the time I was watching Grey's Anatomy so I wanted to know how close her job was to it.
- What do you remember most about your first date?Tom Hanks in the movie Inferno
- When did you know he was the one?The first time he tucked me into bed after a long night shift at work. I have a hard time sleeping usually coming home from a night shift but when he's around I sleep like a baby. It's because he makes me feel safe. So every time I come home from a night shift, it's a must that he tucks me into bed lol, unless he has to go to work before I get home.
- How did you feel the moment he proposed? Were you surprised by his planning?We had discussed about getting married and Julie had even showed me what kind of engagement ring she wanted. The day of the proposal, Julie noticed that I was nervous acting strangely that she suspected and figured out that I was going to propose. The day was amazing nevertheless.
- What do you like to do as a couple?Our first "out of town" trip was to Niagara on the lake for a winery tour. We love going to wineries.
- If you could use 3 word to describe the theme of your day what would they be?Intimate, laid-back, simple
- What is it about my photos that speaks to you?Your photographs capture emotions like no other.
- What is the one thing that attracted you most about your partner?Besides her being gorgeous, I always felt very comfortable around Julie. It's wonderful to find yourself an amazing wife who is also your best friend.
- Tell me 3 things about your partner that describe them best?Julie is caring, bright and charismatic
- Tips or advice that you would give to future couples when planning a wedding?Take deep breaths and enjoy every moment.
