We are preferred wedding vendors at Hockley Valley Resort and Adamo Estate Winery because we love working here. The reception space is a beautifully light modern space with epic backlight and stunning sunsets. So much so, that you should prepare for all your guests to get up during dinner and head out to the patio for golden hour.
- How did you meet?Brad and I met on match.com. He reached out and sent me a message. His profile didn’t have a picture yet because he was just doing a trial. I didn’t message anybody back who didn’t have a picture up…. except for him. He wrote some very kind words and seemed like we had a lot in common 😊
- What do you remember most about your first date?Our first date was kind of funny because Brad had 2 ” interviews ” that day. Before he met me at the restaurant, he had an interview for a very good job that he really wanted. He had double nerves! But we hit it off right away and he kept me laughing . Our third date is when I knew he was perfect for me. As we were saying good bye for the night, he leaned over for a kiss and in that moment my leg popped! Like out of a movie! I felt like a princess who found her prince
What did you feel and remember from your ceremony?I remember my lips were trembling with nerves. Brad could see this and he was calming me by gently rubbing my hands. We couldn’t stop smiling at each other!
- Comments / Tips about your venue for future couples?I highly recommend Adamo Estate Winery to anybody who is looking for a vineyard venue. The staff treat you like gold and every little detail is payed attention to. They are organized and extremely friendly to deal with. My day was absolutely perfect!
- Memorable moment from your getting ready part of the day?While getting ready for our big day, my favorite part was the hang out and chill time with my girls and our mom’s. In the beautiful Hockley Spa. It was nice to finally enjoy the moment after all the hard work leading to that day.
- Why did you choose this venue?We chose Adamo Estate because I wanted a winery wedding and they offered so much more then just a vineyard. I had my hair and make up done right on site at the spa. The picture opportunities on site were endless and we took advantage of that and did our pictures before ceremony.
- What did you talk about during your first dance together? We talked about what a great day we were having and how lucky we were.
- What did you do together the next day that was memorable? We headed north to a cottage for some much needed r & r. Finally drop our shoulders and just be together the 2 of us
